Green Vit Hit Smoothie
This smoothie is packed with nutrition and will provide your 5 per day in one hit! The vibrant green colour even makes it look super healthy and the taste has an unexpected kick. This is quite sweet snack and so it is best consumed on a training day or a day that you plan to be active.
- 2 fistfuls of kale
- 2 fistfuls of baby leaf spinach
- 1 banana
- 1 apple (remove the core)
- 1 pear (remove the core)
- 1 handful of grapes
- 1 slice of pineapple
- 1 thick slice of lime (rind on for vitamix users)
- 2 cm cut of ginger (skin on for vitamin users)
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of ice
- Place all ingredients in the blender and mix on high for 2-3 mins or until smooth. Serve immediately.
